Youth Union and Association play a central role in the 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign. With the support and coordination of various departments, unions, local authorities at all levels, and other organizations and individuals, the campaign is expected to make a significant positive impact.

Provincial Youth Union launched the "Pink Holiday" campaign in Con Co island district, Quang Tri province - an activity in the 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign series.

Each facility has 1 project

The 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign marks the third year of implementing new policies according to the resolutions established by the Youth Union Congresses at all levels for the 2022-2027 term, particularly focusing on the "3 links" policy aimed at ensuring sustainability for youth projects and initiatives. This year, under the guidance of Provincial Youth Union, District Youth Unions have encouraged grassroots Youth Unions and Associations to actively develop programs and plans. They are also tasked with reviewing and selecting practical and effective youth projects with the goal for each Youth Union and Association to implement at least one quality project.

At the launch ceremony for the summer volunteer campaign in Phu Giao district, various projects initiated by grassroots Youth Unions were highlighted. Notably, Youth Union of Provincial Department of Construction awarded two "Union's Foster Children" scholarships to disadvantaged children, providing 500,000 VND per month for each child over a 12-month period. Additionally, Youth Union from Regional Customs Department XVI, along with other local youth unions such as Provincial Industrial Park Management Board, Provincial General Hospital, Department of Agriculture and Environment, and Regional Tax Department XVI, provided 14 solar-powered light bulbs and seven desks to disadvantaged families and children, totaling a value of 24 million VND. The Provincial Customs Department's Youth Union also contributed school supplies worth 3 million VND to students at Phuoc Vinh B Primary School. Furthermore, Provincial Youth Union and Provincial Youth Union Council established a playground for children in An Linh commune, valued at 40 million VND.

With the slogan "Wherever needed, there are youth; wherever difficult, there are youth," district-level Youth Unions, as well as Youth Unions in communes, towns, and wards throughout the province, established various teams, such as “Green Summer,” “Red Flamboyant Flower,” “Pink Vacation,” “Green March,” “Supporting Exam Season,” “Education for the Masses,” and “Free Swimming Lessons for Underprivileged Children.” These youth volunteer teams are responsible for supporting the effective implementation of the summer volunteer campaign at the grassroots level. Their efforts aim to foster an environment where youth union members and students can connect, promote the spirit of volunteering, and engage in meaningful activities within the community this summer.

North Tan Uyen Youth launched the 2nd "Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign and "Green Sunday" in 2025

Each young man has 2 jobs

This year's Summer Youth Union Campaign was organized with a strong spirit of volunteerism among union members and youth, focusing on socio-economic development, the construction of new rural areas, and the cultivation of civilized urban environments. The campaign also emphasizes social security and national defense. Youth Union and Association organizations in the province encouraged participants to adhere to the motto: "Each union member, association member, and youth should complete at least two practical and meaningful tasks." This initiative helps to spread the values of volunteering among young people.

Last week, grassroots Youth Unions simultaneously launched the Summer Youth Union Campaign alongside the second "Green Sunday" of 2025. In the North Tan Uyen district, every commune and town's Youth Union mobilized a significant number of members and young people to engage in activities such as planting and rejuvenating trees along the "Youth Self-Management" road, cleaning up the environment, and removing illegal advertisements. They also raised the public’s awareness of environmental sanitation, encouraging proper waste disposal and care for gratitude gardens and youth gardens.

In addition, Youth Union leaders, members, and youth from schools and local agencies participated in creating a vibrant atmosphere of competition through various meaningful activities. These included projects like “Changing the Old Wall with a New Coat,” exchanging plastic waste for school supplies, guiding people on how to install and use online public services, planting trees, collecting waste, and promoting environmental protection within residential areas.

Through these activities, each young person becomes an active "seed," collaborating with Youth Unions and Associations to enhance awareness of environmental protection, preserve beautiful and clean landscapes, contribute to the development of advanced rural areas, and support urban civilization. This collectively fosters sustainable development.

Embracing the slogan "Wherever needed, there are youth; wherever challenges arise, there are youth," Youth Unions at the district level and in communes, towns, and wards established various teams, including: “Green Summer,” “Red Flamboyant,” “Pink Vacation,” “Green March,” “Supporting Exam Season,” “Education for the Masses,” and “Free Swimming Lessons for Underprivileged Children.”
