Twelve provinces join up in the Firefighting and Rescue Sports Festival.

On the morning of March 21, at Hung Vuong Street in Thu Dau Mot City, the Provincial People's Committee hosted a Fire Fighting and Rescue Festival as part of the 9th "Healthy for National Security" Congress scheduled for 2025. The event was attended by Major General Huynh Thoi An, Deputy Director of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of the Ministry of Public Security; Mr. Bui Minh Tri, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Colonel Nguyen Thanh Diep, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police; representatives from various departments and branches within the province; leaders from several provincial and municipal police forces; and contestants representing 12 teams.

The sports festival commenced with a parade, orchestrated through the stands by twelve teams representing twelve provinces, including Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Binh Thuan, Lam Dong, Gia Lai, Kon Tum, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Tay Ninh, and Long An. During the festival, athletes fervently competed in the 4x100m relay race focused on rescue and firefighting. Consequently, the Binh Thuan team secured first place, the Binh Duong team achieved second place, and the Binh Phuoc team claimed third place.
