"Thu Dau Mot - The city I love with pride"

Early June 24, the Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Fatherland Front Committee of Thu Dau Mot city organized a program on "Thu Dau Mot - The city I love with pride" to meet and honor organizations and individuals who have made significant contributions to the city's development. The event was attended by former Politburo member and former State President Nguyen Minh Triet; Vo Van Minh, Vice Secretary of provincial Party Committee and Chairman of provincial People’s Committee, along with current and former provincial leaders over periods.

Throughout its journey of construction and development, the Party Committee, government and people of Thu Dau Mot city have remained united and made tireless efforts to build a modern, civilized and compassionate urban area worthy of being the political, economic and cultural center of Binh Duong province. Over the course of its establishment, growth and transformation, the Party Committee of Thu Dau Mot city has consistently demonstrated initiative, creativity and flexibility in leadership. It has continuously strengthened its governance capacity and organizational resilience, embodying a bold and action-driven spirit. These qualities have led to significant achievements in the city's renewal efforts, contributing to the ongoing development of Thu Dau Mot into a prosperous, modern and increasingly refined urban area.

At the program, Thu Dau Mot city unveiled a book on "History of Thu Dau Mot city’s Party Committee for the period of 2020–2025”. This book is not only a solemn acknowledgment of the achievements attained, but also serves as a valuable resource to educate revolutionary traditions, instill pride and inspire a sense of responsibility among the present and future generations.

On this occasion, provincial Party Committee presented an emulation flag to the city's Party Committee in recognition of five consecutive years of outstanding performance. The event also honored former provincial leaders; former members of the Standing Committee and Executive Committees of the district and city’s Party Committees over periods and individuals who have made notable contributions to the development of Thu Dau Mot city. In addition, appreciation was extended to the city’s departments and units, the People’s Committees of wards, the Catholic Solidarity Committees of the province and the city, religious and ethnic organizations in the area and 140 exemplary households that have significantly contributed to the city's development.
