Standing Committee of provincial People's Council supervises localities on work of arrangement and merger
On the morning of May 28, a supervising delegation of Binh Duong Provincial People's Council Standing Committee led by Ms. Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, had a meeting with People's Committee of Thuan An City on the preparation of conditions, facilities, and arrangement of working offices for new communes and wards after the arrangement and merger; the preparation of operating conditions for the new commune-level Public Administration Service Center; the digitization of documents, archiving and management of documents, and digital databases in the area. Accordingly, after the merger, Thuan An City has 5 wards, including Thuan An, Binh Hoa, Lai Thieu, Thuan Giao and An Phu wards.
At the meeting, Representatives from various departments and branches of Thuan An City requested that the Provincial Department of Finance promptly advise and submit a proposal to the Provincial People's Committee. This proposal would seek approval for the planned renovation and repair of the new People's Committee headquarters in the ward, in order to meet the working needs for the foreseeable future. At the meeting, Di An City reported on the preparation progress, proactively arranged working headquarters and ward-level Public Administration Service Centers in accordance with the reality of each locality. In which, the new Di An ward will use the existing headquarters of Di An city as its headquarters. The new Dong Hoa Ward will use the existing headquarters of 3 wards: Dong Hoa, Binh An and Binh Thang.
