Provincial Trade Union: Strong grassroots focus helps workers feel secure at work
In recent times, Binh Duong Trade Union at all levels has actively fulfilled its role as a leader and supporter for workers. Numerous welfare policies have been implemented to assist workers, particularly those facing serious illnesses, workplace accidents, and challenging family circumstances.

Leave no one behind
The mass wedding ceremony for working couples at the end of 2024 was warm, joyful, and filled with love. This meaningful event was organized by the Provincial Labor Confederation. Mr. Truong Anh, a worker at Chi Hung Company Limited, expressed his emotions, saying that he and his wife both work at the same company. They have loved each other for many years but didn't have the financial means to hold a wedding. “Thanks to the union's support, my husband and I are incredibly happy; words cannot describe it! We promise to work hard and contribute to the development of the company and our community,” stated Truong Anh.
In the past, workers received support not only at the grassroots level but also through the mobilization of social resources to care for union members. In 2024 and the early months of 2025 alone, over 500 billion VND was spent on employee care. Additionally, workers had the opportunity to shop at "Union Tet Markets." Trade unions at all levels raised hundreds of billions of VND to provide train, bus, and plane tickets for workers to return home for the Tet celebrations. They also collaborated with the local Red Cross to organize various activities to support workers in need and set up zero-VND markets.
Mr. Nguyen Tan Dat, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Confederation, stated that every quarter and annually, trade unions in Binh Duong Province regularly organize and collaborate with the government to allocate more resources aimed at improving the lives of union members and workers, especially those who are far from home and facing difficult circumstances. Numerous programs have been initiated, including the “Zero-Dong Tet Market,” “Zero-Dong Market,” the “Sing for Workers - Listen to Workers Sing” program, and weekend recreational activities for workers. These initiatives have created a joyful and vibrant environment, encouraging union members and workers to engage enthusiastically in their work and production.

They also hosted a Sports Festival to create an engaging and beneficial environment for union members and workers.
Meanwhile, Mr. Le Minh Hoang, Vice President of Tan Uyen City Labor Federation, said that in the first quarter of 2025, in addition to activities of giving hundreds of gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, Tan Uyen City Labor Federation organized many cultural, artistic and sports activities, creating a useful and healthy playground for union members and workers. "Through recreational activities, workers strengthen solidarity, bond, improve physical strength after working days in the company or business, strive to work well, and have a long-term attachment to the locality," said Mr. Le Minh Hoang.
Create a playground, help workers come together Ms. Le Thi Hong Nhung, Chairwoman of the Binh Duong Industrial Parks Trade Union, stated that in order for union members and workers to develop a long-term commitment to Binh Duong province, it is essential to not only address the material needs of workers facing difficulties but also to organize various competitions, including football, volleyball, and cross-country tournaments. These events create a healthy environment for union members and workers to enjoy themselves together, strengthen solidarity, and support one another in both work and life. ![]() |
