Provincial leaders pay gift visits to policy beneficiary families and revolutionary contributors in North Tan Uyen
On April 15, provincial delegation, led by Nguyen Van Danh, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee visited and presented gifts to policy beneficiaries and revolutionary contributors on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025). The delegation also attended ground-breaking and house handover ceremonies for revolutionary contributors and needy people in North Tan Uyen district.
Accordingly, the delegation visited and offered gifts to five policy beneficiaries and revolutionary contributors in the district, including heroic Vietnamese mother Doan Thi Cheo in Tan Binh town; Nguyen Van Nghia, former Squad Leader of the Phu Loi Battalion during the resistance war against the US in Tan Binh town; Major General Vo Quyet Chien, former Deputy Political Commissar of Military Zone 7, residing in Binh My commune’s My Duc hamlet; Nguyen Thi Nhanh, former member of the Special Task Force in Binh My commune’s Binh Co hamlet; Duong Thi Hien Xuan, former member of the Special Task Force in Hieu Liem commune’s Cay Dung hamlet.
In the visiting places, on behalf of the delegation, Mr. Danh extended best regards to the families and paid sincere gratitude to contributions of the veterans in the struggle for national independence. He expressed hopes that they will continue maintaining good health, serving as role models for future generations while further upholding the tradition of the "Uncle Ho’s soldiers" in contributing to the local development.
On this occasion, the delegation also attended a house handover ceremony for the family of Nguyen Van Be in Hieu Liem commune’s Chanh Hung hamlet. Mr. Be is a war veteran who was imprisoned by the enemy during the resistance. The delegation also participated in a groundbreaking ceremony for the repair of the house of Nguyen Van Dao, also residing in Hieu Liem commune’s Chanh Hung hamlet.
