Enhancing the business environment and bolstering national competitiveness by 2025

Binh Duong provincial People's Committee has recently issued Plan No. 370/KH-UBND to implement Resolution No. 02/NQ-CP dated January 8, 2025, from the government, which outlines key tasks and solutions aimed at enhancing the business environment and bolstering national competitiveness by 2025. In this regard, departments, branches, sectors, and the People's Committees of districts and cities are directed to refine institutions and policies to attract investment from major technology corporations, thereby creating opportunities for enterprises in Binh Duong specifically and Vietnam more broadly to engage in the global value chain; enhance production capacity, and facilitate research, technology acquisition, and transfer; and promote collaborative research and technology transfer with advanced nations, particularly in the domains of artificial intelligence, biotechnology, semiconductors, and renewable energy.

Periodically and prior to June 10 and December 10, 2025, units will conduct preliminary and final reviews, assess the execution of the plan, and submit their findings to the Department of Planning and Investment for synthesis. This will enable the Provincial People's Committee to report to the Ministry of Planning and Investment in accordance with regulations.
