Customs clearance boosted for imported and exported goods
Effective March 15, 2025, the Region 16 Customs Branch, in conjunction with the entire customs sector, will implement a new organizational model. This structure designates the Region 16 Customs Branch as headquartered in Binh Duong province, overseeing the management of three provinces: Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, and Tay Ninh. According to the leadership of the Region 16 Customs Branch, over 2,000 declarations were processed on the inaugural day of the new model. To date, the clearance of import and export goods for enterprises has been expedited, with any emerging issues promptly addressed and resolved for businesses.

In the initial two months of 2025, Binh Duong's total import-export turnover is projected to approach 10 billion USD, with export turnover estimated at 5 billion 953 million USD (an increase of 19.7%) and import turnover estimated at 3 billion 931 million USD (a rise of 15.8% compared to the same period in 2024).
