Wednesday, 19/02/2025

Provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism has recently held a symposium to review the progress and outcomes of administrative reform, digital transformation and the smart city project in aspects for 2024 while also outlining key tasks for 2025.

In 2024, the province’s culture, sports and tourism sector achieved significant progress in administrative reform and digital transformation. Specifically, the sector enhanced support and guidance for citizens and businesses to efficiently complete administrative transactions through end-to-end online public services. It also ensured timely reception and resolution of administrative procedure-related feedback and requests via the province’s 1022 hotline system. Additionally, sector-related information and data were regularly updated quarterly on provincial Intelligent Operation Center  (IOC). The department’s official website (https://sovhttdl.binhduong.gov.vn) was upgraded comprehensively in technology, interface and content to meet information and communication needs while ensuring compliance with the Government’s Decree No. 42, dated June 24, 2022, on providing public information and online services.

The sector also implemented two pilot models under the Project No.06, continued the digitization of library data, developed the Binh Duong Digital Gazetteer Database and applied the 360-degree technology in tourism promotion—enhancing the efficiency of management services for citizens and businesses.

To further build on these achievements, in 2025, leaders of the department have directed the department’s units to proactively propose specific tasks and solutions associated with their functions and responsibilities. Additionally, the sector will restructure the Steering Committee for administrative reform and digital transformation, concretize provincial plans on digital transformation in libraries and cultural heritage, apply technology to develop smart tourism, review and build a database for evaluating and recognizing annual cultural titles, digitize data on street names and public works…
