Construction of the gate to Ong Temple relic site begins
On February 12, at Ong Temple (Tan Long Quarter, Tan Hiep Ward, Tan Uyen City), Binh Duong Provincial Special Forces Intelligence Reconnaissance Liaison Board held a groundbreaking ceremony to start construction of this relic site’s gate.
Previously, Ong temple was a place for reconnaissance, military intelligence, and provincial special forces activities. Up to now, with the approval of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Special Forces Intelligence Reconnaissance Liaison Board has started the construction of the gate. The gate was built on the old gate’s site which had fallen into disrepair. The project cost is according to the design and estimate with a total amount of 500 million VND, using socialized sources mobilized by the Provincial Special Forces Intelligence Reconnaissance Liaison Committee.
On December 30, 2016, the Provincial People's Committee issued a decision to recognize Ong Temple as a provincial historical and cultural relic.
