Additional resources for enterprises’ development
The business community and people are very excited when the Government has issued a resolution submitting to the National Assembly Standing Committee for advice on reducing land rental fees in 2024.
In recent years, in order to alleviate difficulties and support socio-economic recovery and development, the Prime Minister has issued decisions to reduce land rental fees in 2020, 2021 and 2022 for businesses, organizations, households and individuals leasing land from the State, who were affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Additionally, the 2023 land rental reduction policy was introduced to further stimulate production and business activities. In Binh Duong, this policy has played a crucial role in supporting businesses, organizations and individuals, helping them overcome challenges and restore their operations.
In 2024, the global economy continues facing numerous risks while domestically, many localities have been affected by events such as Typhoon No. 3 (Yagi)... The Government's issuance of a resolution on submitting to the National Assembly Standing Committee for advice on reducing land rental fees in 2024 is assessed to provide additional resources to support businesses and people to cope with difficulties and challenges in the coming time. After receiving approval from the National Assembly Standing Committee, the Ministry of Finance will submit a draft decree to the Government outlining the specifics of the 2024 land rental reduction policy.
According to the General Statistics Office report, in 2024, the global economy continued facing numerous risks, including the increasing frequency and severity of natural disasters, due to climate change. This not only threatens food security and energy security, but also poses risks of social instability. If the resolution on land rent reduction for 2024 is approved by the National Assembly Standing Committee, this will be the fifth consecutive year that businesses, organizations households and individuals leasing land from the State on an annual basis continue benefiting from this support policy. The land rent reduction policy not only helps ease financial burdens, but also creates favorable conditions for production and business activities, contributing to economic recovery and development amid ongoing challenges.
